I am 25 years old and I have severe Acid reflux (GERD), and Dyspepsia.
I’ve been on Protonix twice daily. (For 2 years).
I’ve had an Upper GI Endoscopy and a pH Bravo Test. (One year ago)
I tested positive for Helicobacter Pylori and had a 14 day treatment. (1 and a half year ago).
I am feeling awful, this acid reflux is interfering with my daily life. I stopped taking the protonix last week since it was making no difference. I am looking for natural remedies. I tried the Apple Cider Vinegar with water but my stomach couldn’t handle it. Apples seem to make my acid reflux worst and I have been drinking aloe vera juice mixed with apple juice for 3 days and still see no difference. What else can I do?
I am afraid of getting sicker because of the acid reflux, I know that it can cause many things in the future. I am changing my diet to more vegetables and no spices or things that are not good for me.
I have an appointment with my GI until the end of January.
